Submitting a Phone Service Request for Jabber
To request a new phone extension or configure Jabber services, please follow the steps below:

Access the Service Portal
Navigate to https://tccs-help.claremont.edu

Sign In
Click “Sign in with SSO” and log in using your CAS credentials.

Submit a Service Request
Select “Phone Request” from the available service options.

Complete the Request Form
Provide the following details:

Phone Model or Circuit Type: Select Jabber

Primary Line Extension (5 digits): Enter New Extension or Existing Extension

Email: Provide the Pitzer email address of the individual receiving the new extension

Devices to Configure: Select the device types on which the Jabber client will be used

Additional Information
In the designated field, include any relevant details about your request, such as:
- Whether this is a new extension or a replacement for an existing one
- If replacing an existing extension, include the previous extension number
- If the extension was previously assigned to a former employee, confirm whether they have left Pitzer
- Indicate if a new voice mailbox needs to be created
- Specify if voicemails should be forwarded via email, and provide the preferred email address for routing

Submit Your Request
Click “Place Request” to complete the process.
Once the request has been completed, please submit a ticket to the Help Desk to have the Jabber software installed.
